Guided Trip Info

We offer guided fishing trips, both in the drift boat and walk wading. Full day and half day trips. On guided trips all fly fishing gear included, rod, reel, line, fly’s and more. You are welcome to bring your own gear aslo. We include lunch on full days. We can do bigger group trips as well with multiple guide’s and multiple boats. Feel free to contact us for details or to plan a trip.

These prices are for 2 anglers, additional charges for additional anglers-kr1750

Full day guided fishing trips, 8hr kr-5500 includes lunch

Half day guided fishing trips, 4hr kr-4000 lunch not included

We recommend coming prepared with the right clothing and gear for the time of year you are fishing. We are located just below the arctic circle and it can get cold and wet any time of the year. But also being closer to the sun means it’s easy to get sun burnt. Recommended to have with you, sunblock, polarized sunglasses, hat/cap. You will need a rain jacket/rain paints or waders and something warm like a puffy jacket or lightweight down jacket. Please call or email with any questions.

John Bond (Owner/Guide)

While John Bond is new to Norway, he is no stranger to guiding, and he has been doing just that on some of the most infamous rivers of Montana, USA. Living and guiding in Montana for the past 10 years John has become known for his incredible passion for all things fly fishing, especially when it comes to large trout. Dry flies, nymphs or streamers, john will work with you and share his years of guiding and techniques to take you to that next level of angling. He love’s rowing his drift boat and showing his clients a new perspective of the river while floating. Mr. Bond is a ambassador with GuideLine, Scientific Anglers and a signature fly tyer with Umpqua fly company. John is looking forward to meeting the community and continuing his passion for fly fishing on the Rena River.

Martin ­Mikkelsen (Guide)

Martin Mikkelsen has 15 years of experience fly fishing on the Rena river. Martin is always fishing and has dune many guided trips throughout his years on the Rena. He brings a very helpful and pleasant attitude to your experience on the water and will always go that extra mile to show you a good time. It seems like he has cracked the code of the Rena with his many large trout and grayling in resent years. Martin is well known and respected in the fishing community for his ability to find the fish. You can read an interview with Martin about his guiding in Norway found here giving some deeper insight into his passion for the Rena River. Martin is available for guiding for the entire fishing season and is one of the best local resources when it comes to wetting a line on the Rena River.

Henrik Leth (Guide)

Henrik is a veteran angler and guide with 37 years of experience on the Rena River. He has made the trip from Denmark every year since the 80’s to spend his Summer’s in Deset on the Rena to fish, guide, and enjoy the beauty of Norway. Henrik knows the river better than most, and has acquired skills and knowledge to satisfy all angler’s at any skill level. Henrik has spent many years floating the river and he knows where to find the rising fish to connect with success. Always in great spirits and ready to fish, he is a great companion to spend time on the water with. He is respected all over Scandinavia for his environmental work and for being a steward of healthy rivers and ecosystems, also for being pretty damn FISHY. Catch him here from the middle of June - the middle/end of August and be ready to become fully immersed in everything the Rena River has to offer.
