* Important Note Below On Renting Rafts & Boats *
This is very important for anyone renting boats or floating the river. Floating the river in a boat is a privilege and should be treated with much respect and safety. First thing to consider is other people fishing. If you see someone wade fishing or standing in the river or up on the banks avoid them at all costs and give them a wide berth, plenty of room for them to enjoy their fishing. Try your hardest to give them the space they need and not intrude into their fishing space. This means moved to the other side of the river, the middle of the river or at least 20 meters away from the other anglers. It is very important to be courteous and to give everyone the appropriate and space to enjoy the river while fishing. While floating the river it’s also important to keep your voices down and respect the quiet atmosphere that Flyfishing brings to all of us. There are many people that live on the river and other people that enjoy the river so respecting them and their experience is just as important as catching a fish. And always remember to be safe while floating the river. Using your life vest at all times and avoiding trees and branches that might be along the banks or submerged under the water is important for your own safety. While in the raft, drift boat or personal raft please stay in the boat at all times unless you have a safe place to stand up along the shoreline. Floating the river and wearing waders is nice but it can also be very dangerous, your waders can fill with water fast pulling you under the water and can result in drowning and loss of life. So please be safe at all times while visiting and floating the river.
All rafts and boats come equipped with safety equipment as well as a brief instructional course regarding operation and safety while on the water. We also operate a shuttle service with drop off and pick up so you can fish specific sections of the river. Please inquire for any information on these services and a Rena Fishcamp team member will be happy to assist.
WaterMaster - Single Person Raft Kr 1.000.- per day
The WaterMasters are very well known in the USA and a great option for going solo on the Rena. We have a total of 6 of these rafts here at the Rena Fishcamp and they are extremely easy to operate while offering unique access to the river.
Maravia Raft Fishing Frame (3 Persons) Kr 1.750.- per day
Maravia rafts are the strongest rafts ever built. This boat can get you in those hard to hit spots along the river. With ample room for 3 people you can have an excellent day on the water and will get to access more of the river resulting in some awesome fishing.
ClackaCraft Drift Boat (3-4 Persons) Kr 1.750.- per day
The Rena Drift boat is one of the best ways to fish this river. It allows for precise maneuvering and plenty of room for 4 people to have an awesome day on the water. We offer shuttle services for launches as well as pickups from designated locations along the river. Call ahead as the drift boat gets rented frequently and can be booked for up to a week at a time. Boat drop off and pick up included with daily rental.
Rods & Gear
Rods and Reels
Rena Fishcamp carries an arsenal of Guideline rods allowing guests to rent and demo the latest and greatest from one of the best rod manufactures in Europe. Along with rods and reels from Guideline we also carry Galvan Reels, spooled with Scientific Angler lines making some serious trout setups for you to test out while here at the Rena Fishcamp.
Nets
For healthy releases we carry nets with soft baskets to allow for the cleanest catch and release possible. For proper catch and release methods please stop by the shop and we would be happy to show you.
Waders & Boots
For wade fishing from the banks, stop by the shop to rent a pair of waders and boots to keep you dry all day long when fishing. We carry a limited supply so please book ahead if you don’t plan on bringing your own.
